Plugin Directory

Plugin to display your sites status in The Truth Laid Bear Ecosystem.

When you site loads for the first time after the plugin has been installed, it goes and grabs the content from the http://www.truthlaidbear.com/showdetails.php script for your site and then puts that content into a file. Then, every time your site is viewed after that, this plugin checks the file, and if it's not more than 24 hours old it just displays the contents of the file. If it is older, the script refreshes the cached file from the Ecosystem.

Option 1

Use the 'One-click Install' System provided by the WordPress Plugins Database.

Option 2

  1. Download the latest version
  2. Extract the zip file (if you downloaded the zip) and put the ttlb_ecosystem_cache.php file into you /wp-content/plugins directory.
  3. Go to the Plugins section in WordPress and activate TTLB Ecosystem Cache.

Once you have installed the plugin, you can then use the ttlb_ecosystem_details() tag anywhere in your code. The function takes an optional parameter $my_blog, which can be a url which you want to get the ecosystem status of. Use this only if the url you have setup for your blog is different to the one listed in the ecosystem.

The output of the plugin is:

<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript"><!--
'<div id="Ecosystem">' +
'I\'m a<br />' +
'<a href="http://www.truthlaidbear.com/showdetails.php?host=**URL**">**CATEGORY_NAME***</a></b></font><br />' +
'in the<br />' +
'<a href="http://www.truthlaidbear.com/ecosystem.php">TTLB Ecosystem</a>' +
function drawHTML(s) { document.write(s); }
// -->

Where *URL* is replaced by the url of your site & *CATEGORY_NAME* is replaced by the category your site fits into.
