#1035 new defect

Bugfix: atom feed enclosures / Proposition: icon vs. logo tag

Reported by: ntm Owned by: seek3r
Priority: normal Severity: normal
Plugin: podpress Keywords: atom feed template

related to the trunk version:

Some months ago I have made some changes in the wp-atom1.php of podpress. These changes are in the trunk version now. But I have overlooked at least one bug: there is a call to the function rss_enclosure();. But this adds the wrong enclosure tags. I have overlooked that the right enclosures are inserted via do_action('atom_entry'); and the function podPress_getEnclosureTags('atom'); in the podpress_feed_functions.php.
With RSS enclosure tags the ATOM feed is not valid.
That is why the rss_enclosure() call should not be there. (see the diff file)

The other problem which should be resolved is in the function podPress_atom_head() (file: podpress_feed_functions.php). This function is obviously meant to add a feed image to the ATOM feed. But as you can read in the ATOM Wiki the logo-tag of ATOM feeds is more comparable to the image-tag of the RSS feeds than the icon-tag.
(... and for instance the Firefox makes the difference visible)
