AJAX Calendar - multiple problems in WordPress 3

In WordPress 3.0.1 with Ajax Calendar 2.4.10, adding widget to sidebar results in the following error:

Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed in /home/critical/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ajax-calendar2/models/calendar.php on line 150

This seems to be an error when the category is empty.

Also, highlighted dates are also incorrect when changing months. Further description and suggested fixes for these bugs are offered here:

Most of these should be fixed in 2.5
